A home should be a reflection of the people who live there. Finding the right home, or moving on to a new home, isn’t always easy but with the right guidance it can and should be enjoyable. Over the past 15 years, I’ve helped friends, family, and hundreds of clients find and sell homes in and around Boston, Wellesley and Nantucket.
When I started in real estate, the financial crisis of 2008 was in full swing. I was a year out of college and the market had come to a screeching halt. The concept of HGTV was just getting off the ground and long-time agents were flooding out of the business. Suffice it to say, choosing real estate was FAR from glamorous. I didn’t have a salary or benefits and routinely worked a full-work week plus nights + weekends. In hindsight, it took a pretty radical leap of faith but I instantly fell in love with my work. Every day was different and finding someone a place to live felt deeply important.
Real estate also drew on my strengths. As an art history major, I love historic homes and architecture. I’m also a right-brain thinker who deeply values relationships. For me, real estate has never been about a transaction - it’s about the people. I love what I do and going the extra mile is part of who I am.

Your home matters. Spaces, just like people, give off energy. How your home looks and feels should reflect who you are and what you love. For many of us, finding the right look and feel and executing on decisions can be overwhelming. With “influences” coming from every direction, it can be difficult to pin down what feels authentic to you and where to begin.

I love to travel but am a huge homebody at heart. The Danish word ‘hygge,’ which loosely translates as “cozy contentment,” could be my middle name.
I’m definitely a right-brain thinker with left-brain organizational skills. I have an uncanny knack for reading architectural plans and a photographic memory for any road I’ve ever driven on.
I love the smell and flavor of coffee but had to give up full caffeine in my twenties. Too many jitters! I’m strictly a chai tea drinker now.
In my next life I want to own a flower shop. There is something about the simple beauty of arranging flowers that feeds my soul (and Trader Joe’s has sneaky good flowers!)
As a home-town girl, autumn in New England is my favorite season. Nothing beats the crisp air in October, mulled cider, a pot of soup on the stove and football season.
Nature is my recharge. In fact, the first thing I fell in love with about our house in Wellesley wasn’t the kitchen or the master bedroom, it was our neighbor’s beautiful old stone wall and the hiking trails across the street.
As a working mom with 3 little kids and 2 businesses, trying to cook balanced meals, have date nights with her husband, find quality time with friends, walk the family dog and still carve out time for myself, I know the constant juggle of motherhood. I’m a firm believer that it takes a village!
